Working with Etta on our bespoke wedding rings was such a special experience. We are absolutely delighted with the end result, as soon as I put mine on I felt like I had been wearing it forever.
THE PROCESS
DESIGN
The Brief – to create a silver wedding ring which would fit with their existing engagement ring but could also be a stand alone piece.
I sketched up different designs and she chose an elegant sterling silver wrap around v shape band with five beautiful bezel set sapphires of different blue tones. To fit with her existing wedding ring of diamond and blue sapphires.
The darkest blue sapphire was central and then they graduated to light creating a stunning effect.
MAKING
AT THE JEWELLERY BENCH
At the jewellery bench, with her existing engagement ring to hand, I was able to create a wrap around silver ring which fitted snugly with her other ring.
After setting the sapphires, and a high polish, the result was stunning.
FINISHED PIECE
SHINY AND NEW
And off to the client in time for her wedding day.
The bride was so thrilled with her ring, it suited her just perfectly.
